Our Dorm Verses- Spring '09

"For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love."

Ephesians 4:12-16

Some things to think about...

Hello, girls! Some food for thought. :) This year our dorm theme is going to be "Being an Example". Ok, so, yeah yeah, we have ALWAYS been told to be an example, right? Well, as a Christian, what does being an example look like? How do I live out being an example in my own life? What should my motivation be behind being an example? Pleasing others and getting praise, or pleasing the Lord? Those are some of the questions that we will be answering this semester. I hope it will be a challenge and encouragement to you, as it already has been for me as I have prepared it. :)

Are you here yet?!?!?!?!

Hello, my girls! I am so excited for you to finally get here! :) I am praying for all of you! If you have any questions, please just e-mail me at hmcgrail@mbbc.edu.

Kayla Heaton's Dad Got Saved!

Those who were in Weeks this past year know that one of our girls, Kayla Heaton, was praying for her dad, who was diagnoised with cancer this past semester, to get saved. Kayla just wrote me an e-mail to let me know that he has accepted the Lord as his personal Lord and Savior! What a blessing! Please keep Kayla's dad in prayer as he still is fighting the cancer and needs to find good health insurance that will help him get the treatments he needs before the cancer spreads more.

We love you, Kayla, and are praying for you and your family! :)
